We’re excited about Springing Ahead with new beginnings at the Arapahoe Philharmonic!
Now that there is light at the end of the tunnel, we are looking forward to sharing the stage with you again! As the premier orchestra of the South Denver Metro area, the Arapahoe Philharmonic has not slowed down during the pandemic. We have continued with virtual and live programming, and we shared our love of music to engage, enrich, and inspire with our entire community.
In our quest to develop our audiences, community partners, and artistic pool, we have made it our first priority to continuously improve the interpretative quality and technical level of our orchestra, aiming to ensure the creative development of our musicians, from amateurs to professionals, and to rally the community behind our orchestra. With the leadership of our Music Director, Devin Patrick Hughes and our professional musicians, our musicians will perform in auditions each season to sharpen and hone their craft by performing in concerts based on their technical level and the repertoire needs. Change is not easy, but we’re committed to do all we can to evolve positively. Based on this new model we hope to attract musicians and community members who want to be a part of awesome music-making, and provide an opportunity for amateur and professional musicians to build their skills through feedback and ensemble playing.
We will also be expanding into a hybrid model aiming to augment our audiences on stage and through livestream performances, reaching patrons and concertgoers that do not feel comfortable coming back to the concert hall.
Join us in this effort!

The Arapahoe Philharmonic is grateful to our sponsors for their contribution over the past several years, and strives to honor their commitment every season through artistic excellence, great performances, community partnerships, and educational outreach.
