Children's Discovery Concert

Friday, April 1, 2022, 11 a.m.

Denver First Church of the Nazarene

3800 E. Hampden Avenue, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113

Children: $5

Adults: $15

This concert is geared toward students late elementary and middle school, though the program is sure to be enjoyed by slightly younger and older students as well.

Two notorious “Pirates” have arrived at the show competing to find the buried treasure on their maps. They tell of their worldly adventures and the musical selections we hear reveal clues about where the treasure can be found.

The Teacher’s Guide is available here: AP Discovery 22 Teacher Guide

The Arapahoe Philharmonic has a deep commitment to music education, and educating our children and youth is an integral part of our mission. Colorado State Music Standards 3 (Theory of Music) and 4 (Aesthetic Valuation of Music) will be the educational focus of the concert. We believe the Arapahoe Philharmonic has the most hands-on children’s concert in the south Denver metro area.
