Sponsored by the Jack McCaffery Group and the Arapahoe Philharmonic

A master class is a public lesson taught by an outstanding performer. Andrew Sords performed the Sibelius Violin Concerto on September 26, 2014, with the Arapahoe Philharmonic and led a master class with three high school violin students chosen through an audition process. The students performed a movement of a concerto they have been studying, with a professional pianist playing the orchestration. The students selected had the opportunity to receive personalized instruction from Andrew about the work they have been preparing to assist them in further perfecting their performance.

The audience consisted of other students, parents, AP musicians, and the Jack McCaffery Group. The audience was seated on stage so they could hear the lesson details.
