More Music In the Park(ing Lot)!

For our music fans that want to experience live music and in-person interaction, the Arapahoe Philharmonic is delighted to present our wonderful woodwind quartet in a new Park(ing Lot) series! The program will feature Virginia Limbird (principal oboe), Jason Richard Olney (principal clarinet), Evelyn Rutenberg (principal flute), and guest Cody Tripp (bassoon). The theme is Rags to Riches, with wide-ranging repertoire that includes the following:

Handel – Queen of Sheba

Carlos Gardel- Por Una Cabeza

Tang- Ragtime for Woodwinds

Rondeau – Colorful Suite

Goepfart- Quartet

Gounod- Funeral March/Marionette

Abreu – Tico tico no fuba

Rossini – Barber of Seville Overture

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear LIVE music in a safe environment! We ask you to keep a mask handy, as you will be able to listen from the comfort of your car, or if you choose, to sit in lawn chairs by your car.  You must wear a mask outside your car.   Each car will be parked more than six feet apart so plenty of room for social distancing. There will be no access to the building itself, so please plan accordingly.

We are offering 3 performances, listed below.  All are at 5:30 p.m. and will last about 45 minutes.

September 18 – Denver First Church of the Nazarene

Tickets are $10 per car.  Please purchase your tickets in advance to ensure minimum contact with staff when you arrive.
