Fate knocks at the door in music’s most famous opening. Beethoven takes us on a journey from struggle to triumph in his triumphal Fifth Symphony.

  • Tchaikovsky’s Concerto, his only concerto for violin, written in 1878 by the shores of Lake Geneva, is ripe with beauty, virtuosity, and joy!

  • Though often overlooked, Louise Farrenc flourished at the center of 19th century Parisian music—admired in her lifetime as a teacher, scholar, and brilliant composer.

  • Praised as profoundly musical with poetic depth and power, rare musicality, and an astonishing mixture of precision and ease, Terence Tam was born to showcase his mastery of Tchaikovksy’s Violin Concerto.
