This season marks the tenth consecutive year that the APYO members will perform
in a Side-by-Side concert with members
of the Arapahoe Philharmonic.
The concert will be performed in the Grandview High School Auditorium at 4:30pm
on Sunday, October 24th.
The late afternoon concert will culminate a day full of activities designed to bring
the APYO musicians in contact with more experienced performers. There will be sectional instruction in the morning,
led by the Section Principles from the parent organization. After lunch, a full rehearsal pairs each APYO student
with a mentoring adult, sharing a stand as they prepare for the performance. Please join us for this exciting day
of learning and the free concert,
underwritten entirely by the Scientific and Cultural
Facilities District.
