The Arapahoe Philharmonic of Denver, through a continuing program to give recognition to young talent, announces its 42nd T. Gordon Parks Collegiate Concerto Competition for 2012-2013. The winner will be the featured soloist with the orchestra on March 15, 2013.
Congratulations to Rachelle Crowell of CU-Boulder. She will perform Gordeli's Concierto for Flute, op. 8 and will be the recipient of the $2000 prize money sponsored by Universal Music.
2nd place winner: Laura McIntyre, Bassoon, ASU, $1000.00
3rd place winner: Laura Arganbright, Oboe, ASU, $500.00
